Gama Supermarket & Department Store Carries Out Social Responsibility
Affected with the fate of the less fortunate, Gama Supermarket & Department Store took the initiative to carry out its social responsibility by inviting its customers to do good.
The campaign, known as The Charity Drive, was successful in collecting donations worth approximately RM20,000 in the form of essential items to be handed over to the residents at the Seri Cahaya Welfare Home.

Among the items received were dry food, oil, rice, biscuits, disposable diapers, soap and more.
In addition to daily necessities, cash amounting to RM2,500 was also handed over to cover some of the needs of the 35 residents at the welfare home, comprising 23 orphans and 12 elderly.
The campaign organized by Gama Supermarket & Department Store was considered a great success.
The shopping mall expressed its appreciation to all parties involved in carrying out this social responsibility.
In addition to Gama Supermarket & Department Store, the campaign was also supported by the non-governmental organization Lions Club which also contributed donations to ensure its smooth running.
