MR D.I.Y. Shares the Joy of Chinese New Year with Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya Pulau Pinang
MR D.I.Y. (M) Berhad (MR D.I.Y) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program ‘Wang Nilai CNY’ distributed angpows and various donations to homes of charity in celebration of Chinese New Year.
Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya Pulau Pinang was one of the recipient for this initiative.
"The ‘Wang Nilai CNY’ initiative allows us to share the joy of this celebration with those who may be alone or going through some challenges."

According to them, the homes of charity also received MR D.I.Y. cash vouchers worth RM1,000 to help them purchase daily necessities.
“Chinese New Year is a time for us to spend time with family and celebrate various Chinese traditions."
“However, not everyone is fortunate enough to celebrate these traditions with their family and we want to make sure that this group is also able to celebrate meaningful Chinese New Year."
“The ‘Wang Nilai CNY’ initiative with HATI allows us to share the joy of this celebration with those who may be alone or going through some challenges. We are delighted to see the joy that has come out of this program,” said Alex Goh, Mr DIY Group Head of Marketing in a statement on Friday.
“We hope that by doing so, we can create a positive impact and encourage other corporate companies to do the same."
